Orthopedics rehabilitation

We will proceed with the process from medical interview, initial evaluation, and treatment. We will provide treatment not only for each part of the disease, but also for the movements and postures that caused the disease before the disease in order to prevent recurrence. After the initial evaluation, we will present the contents of the treatment and the number of times necessary for rehabilitation, and the number of times and frequency of treatment will be selected by the patient. The treatment and approach for each disease is individualized, so we will inform you of this at the initial treatment.

1. Medical Interview

We will ask about when the illness first started, your general physical condition, and your living environment. We will also ask about your current concerns, areas you would like to improve, and your goals.

2. Physical function evaluation

We will identify the cause and problem by conducting muscle strength tests, nerve and sensory tests, and movement analysis such as posture and gait.

3. Program planning from initial evaluation

We will identify problems through a physical function assessment and present a rehabilitation program that includes a prognosis prediction. We will show you the specific period and the extent to which you can achieve your goals, and share the rehabilitation process with you.

4. Rehabilitation

Treatment and movement exercises will be performed. In the case of orthopedic conditions, the ratio of treatment and exercise will be changed according to each condition. After treatment and reacquisition of the original function, muscle strengthening and movement exercises are performed so that the patient does not have trouble in daily life situations.

5. Reassess and review progress

Rehabilitation is carried out while constantly reviewing the results. Progress is checked using objective indicators such as the degree of improvement in paralysis, walking speed, etc. Sometimes it is necessary to reset goals and revise the rehabilitation program through discussion.
